General information
JPSBand runs on Wiki software, MediaWiki to be precise (this very software is used to run Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). While JPSBand should be a collaborative project, there are a few crucial differences. First of all, you cannot edit pages without an account, and account registrations must be done by trusted members, i.e. the site administrator, the Board, or any of our music directors (on this software, they're referred to as sysops).
Getting an account
For an account, please contact Mr. Zazzali (Jhnazz), Mr. Cantor (Jcantor), or Edward Z. Yang (Ambush Commander). If you need Sysop rights, please contact Edward. Accounts should be tied to real life identities so we don't have problems with vandals (remember: if you vandalize, we will find you).

Attention Sysops, if you need to grant people access to the wiki, use Special:Userlogin by typing in the person's desired username, email, and real name, then pressing by email. That link will send a random password to the person's email, so that they can log in, change their password, and start editing. Make sure you fill in real name, so that if one of the students starts doing mischief on the wiki, we can take appropriate action.
Stuff we need to do
Discussion about what should go on the main page should go to the talk page. Make sure you sign your comments with ~~~~. We also need to start discussing what to put on the JPSBand:About and JPSBand:General disclaimer, as well as how the content on the wiki will be licensed. And remember, you can always upload music and pictures via the Special:Upload page.

You can use {{audio}} in order to insert links to music files into pages. Click the link to find out more about how they are use.
