Jazz Ensemble

The Jazz Ensemble consists of a select group of students with the same instrumentation as the Lab Jazz Band. Starting in November, the band meets every Monday and Thursday after school from 2:45 to 5:00 p.m. This performing group is involved in numerous festivals and competitions culminating with the annual Spring trip, State Jazz Band Finals and the Jazz Extravaganza. The band has received Superior ratings at every festival attended and was selected the NJIAJE State Jazz Band Champions in 1998 and 2000.
